Thank you for stopping by the Anpa Wi blog. For those of you that don't know, I got the name Anpa Wi from the Dakota Native American site. I was trying to use the word "sun" since we have solar panels, solar lights, fountains and other solar products on our site. Well, that was not going to work as most of the words for sun were taken.
My mom had told me that we are part Native American so I searched those sites. Anpa Wi seemed perfect as it was short and easy to read, so the site was born. It is a great conversation starter and it helps to keep Native Americans and their language on the minds of everyone who sees it.
